The Four AW16 – INDIVIDUAL
For the new Fall/Winter collection THEFOUR stays true to the recurring theme of searching answers to what it means to be a contemporary woman and how does it effect our femininity. The designers, Anett Gálvölgyi, Anna Zsófia Kormos and Marton Miovac draw inspiration from the idea of the new multicultural individual. In previous collections the emphasis was on work, a fast paced life and how they influence the woman of today. Now the attention shifts to a new kind of person, a multicultural person who is intellectually and emotionally committed to the basic unity of all human beings while the same time recognising, accepting and appreciating the differences that exist between people of different cultures. The collection is the symbolic garderobe of this new kind of person. thus consisting of silhouettes, textiles traditionally used in different corners of the world. The collection is a conversation of high quality textiles like velvet silk and cut out wool, uniquely designed patterns and intense colours structured into daywear conformity hinted with a dose of THEFOUR femininity.
